Workers who seem happy and helpful indicate a good company culture, and usually results in higher customer satisfaction. If the workers don’t want to be there, why would they be motivated to deliver a high quality product?

 

    • Do you have complete specifications or do you want the manufacturer to also help with engineering? This is especially important when developing a prototype.
    • Where is the company located in relation to you? If you intend to work closely with the company’s engineers, it could be more beneficial to choose a manufacturer who is closer to home.
      Shipping is also a consideration. If a company is nearby, they might be able to bring the product directly to you, cutting out expensive shipping costs.
  • Do you want the manufacturer to stock the finished product? Manufacturers who offer an inventory management program might be beneficial to you.
