Shipping and Receiving Clerk

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. Will receive, unpack, inspect and store incoming materials and supplies as well as verify the accuracy of the shipments and orders. Works with vendors to ensure timely inbound and outbound deliveries. The candidate must be able to work independently.

Minimum Requirements
Will perform duties related to shipping and receiving of products which include construction of wooden crates and expediting parts at outside suppliers.
Must possess good computer skills to include use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to use hand tools and have solid basic carpentry skills.
Must possess good communication skills for interface with both internal and external customers.
Must be able to track parts at outsource and provide accurate data for internal scheduling.
Must be able to work with outside suppliers to expedite delivery, when necessary.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends on short notice to support delivery schedules.
Be able to prepare proper paperwork and packaging for all outbound shipments. (training will be provided)
Must be able to follow written instructions within customer shipping systems in order to properly route and track products
Will coordinate with Fed-Ex Ground, Fed-Ex Freight, UPS, and 3rd party shipping companies.
Will process deliveries and deliver to multiple work cells.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Desired Requirements
Be able to use the ERP Business System, SAP by Design. (training will be provided)
Be able to operate loading equipment

Physical Requirements
May be required to work in adverse conditions, from time to time.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Shift Requirements
Overtime is available, as required.
